Sylvester
and Coco are my beautiful Burmese babies, born 12/31/00. They
are litter-mates from a litter of six and have been inseparable since
birth. According to the breeder who raised them, there were three platinum
babies in their litter and these two 'chose each other' (we were looking
for a pair of platinums)! That has proved true. These two love each
other and will meow if separated. They do everything together - go the
vet, on car rides, play, sleep, etc. They live with my fiance and I in
Forest Hills, NY. We adopted them from the Scheriburm Cattery in
Connecticut, where they lived until they were old enough for us to take
home. They are spoiled babies and won't eat certain brands of cat
foods. They won't even eat seafood! These babies were always given
lots of love, attention and their favorite foods, so they don't know how
fortunate they are. They love attention and if ignored, they will let
you know. Most of the time, they follow us from room to room and keep
us company. Sometimes they even surf the Internet and read with us.
Their favorite places to hang out are our laps, the bathtub, the bed and
cardboard boxes. Their favorite toys are fake furry mice, which they
'kill' and then hide under the fridge. They are such smart kids and
always very active and responsive (except when they just woke up from a
big cat-nap). They are also very affectionate towards strangers. They
see us out the door every morning and greet us when we come home at
night, just like dogs (which is how Burmese cats are often described)!
What more could we ask for?
