My
cat is a male orange tabby named Lilla Pissen, which means Little
Kitty in Swedish. He is about two years old now. We found him on the
streets of Brooklyn, NY last year on April 8th. Since he had been a
stray tomcat all his life he had big cheeks and tons of ear mites though
a cool street smart way about him. My husband and I were a little
worried how he'd adapt to living in an apartment. Everything worked out
great, thanks to Pissen's fabulous personality! He's a big sweetheart,
weighing in at 16 pounds; he's all fur and muscles. When we first
brought him home he was very mellow. Just wanted to snuggle and eat but
within a couple of months he became a playful, outgoing and charming
kitty. Pissen is really affectionate and everyone loves him. He spends
his days in the open window watching pigeons, chasing [fake] mice and
eating pieces of string. The last hobby mentioned almost turned fatal
last September but luckily he had surgery before it was too late. You
can see the scar on his tummy on the picture. Poor thing tried to eat a
cassette tape. Since then music cassettes and rubber bands are banned in
our house. My sweetie wakes me up every morning by gently putting his
paws on my face, asking me to hold up the cover so that he can get in
and under next to me. Pissen loves the occasional tuna fish, tofu or
chicken satay. Whenever we order in, he's right there, waiting for his
share. Lastly, when I get home after work, and he's not waiting in the
window for me - I'll call his name before I put the key in the door. And
he always replies. After feeding our fish, the kitty and I kiss and
cuddle on the bed. I love my cat!
