Pumpkin
is a cat that thinks he's a dog. He follows you from room to
room, loves when you scratch his tummy, and adores as much attention
(from me or strangers) as he can get. Despite his dog-like nature,
Pumpkin does not bark (or meow for that matter). Pumpkin snorts like a
pig to full grunting force over almost any matter that causes him to get
off his sofa perch. His smooshed in face and lack of a nose also causes
him to snore himself to sleep.
None of his freaky traits bother me though. He can snort and snore all
he wants to, because he fills my life with joy. Pumpkin is a loyal
friend who stays by my side through thick or thin. He nurses me to
health when I am ill (or he thinks licking me is the best medicine ever
-- it might be!!!!), he constantly makes me laugh even when I am down,
and he showers me with his soggy kisses whenever I least suspect it. I
believe Pumpkin is truly special, and I hope you will, too.
