Isabelle
is the best cat I could've ever asked for! She was a birthday
present this year from my boyfriend, who called one afternoon saying he
really needed to come over because he had a problem. About an hour
later, he showed up at my door, holding a seven-week-old ball of fur!
Isabelle has been the gift that keeps on giving... she loves to play,
with absolutely anything that moves! She is very snobby though, she
won't eat treats (probably to maintain her tiny feminine figure!), and
she sleeps with me every night, usually on the same pillow as my head!
She also loves to hide under blankets when she sleeps. Then she'll jump
out really fast when somebody's feet walk by!
Isabelle's favorite place to play, though, is in the shower, especially
after I've just gotten out and there's still some water running down the
drain! She gets in her attack position at the bathroom door, her eyes
turn solid black, and she'll run as fast as she can and jump into the
shower curtain with full force and land in the bathtub! Then she'll bat
at the water droplets that are slowly rolling toward the drain! She's
just like having a toddler right now, and she's so active that she
doesn't let me sleep at night sometimes because she wakes me up at all
hours wanting to play or be loved on. And sometimes I think I'd like to
get her a little Himalayan brother or sister, but then she looks at me
with those big blue eyes and I know she will always be an only cat! And
every day when I come home from work, she jumps up in my lap and purrs
like a motor, and it just makes any problems quickly disappear! She's a
very happy cat and she makes her mommy very happy too!
