My
husband got Cali about ten years ago when his mother's cat had a
litter of kittens. She lived with my husband's grandmother for years,
mainly being an outside cat, until recently his grandmother moved away
and we welcomed Cali into our home. She is in heaven here and so happy
to be with us. We have a dog also and Cali uses the doggy door just
like the dog, going in and out of the house as she pleases... she has her
"own" room and yard to play in.
Cali is a bit overweight although we don't feed her any junk food and
are trying to keep her on a diet. She is buddies with our dog, Molly,
and enjoys snuggling up against Molly all the time. Cali welcomes all of
our guests, making them feel at home as she plops herself right on their
laps. We love Cali very much and hope to enjoy many happy years with her.
