Angel
was rescued from the woods of Missouri as a four-week-old kitten. The
rest of her family was unfortunately killed by a wild animal, she was the
only survivor. I believe that I misnamed Angel, as you can see by the
picture she should be named "Queen Angel". She is spoiled and she knows
it. She has her own little perch by the back door where she "protects" us
from attacking squirrels. She sleeps on a duvet which she so kindly
shares some space with her humans. I can spend all the money in the world
on cat toys but she would be happy for the rest of her life if I just
give her hair ties. She thinks she is a dog because she fetches the hair
ties and will even come to the door to see who is there when you knock.
Angel is unique and has a great personality. She even talks. If you call
her name she turns and looks at you and meows, it almost sounds like she
says "what". If you are eating, she will come and smell it to make sure
it isn't something she wants. If it is something she wants or at least
wants to try, she will sit there until you give her some. Aside from
keeping the squirrels from getting in through the glass doors she loves
to sit in front of the iguana cage and watch him for hours. Angel is my
heart and I would never trade her for anything in the enitre world. She
will always be my baby, as independent as she may be. "As every cat owner
knows, no one owns a cat."
