This
is Simba. He was rescued from underneath a window box built onto a
house eight years ago. We had to crawl under the house to get him. He
was feisty and did not want anything to do with us, but he is one big
happy cat now. He weighs in at 14 pounds and shares his household with four
other kitties and two dogs.
There isn't much about Simba that isn't special. He does have special
needs, though. He is a nervous sprayer, but we stick with him and try to
make his life less stressful, instead of giving up and getting rid of
him. He was neutered at four months, but he just has always been a very
nervous cat, once the threat passes and he feels safe again, he comes
running to me for comfort and support and puts his paws around my neck
and just stares into my eyes.
Simba is a happy cat, now, and we are glad we found him. I truly love
this cat as if he were one of my children.
