Pepper
is one of our five cats. He belonged to my niece; when my
brother was sent overseas and the family moved to Korea, they couldn't
find anyone to keep him, so we brought him to Virginia from upstate New
York. We were only going to keep him until they came back, but we grew
attached to him. We've now had him for seven years. He's a very large
cat - 24 pounds - so he takes up a lot of space in bed. He's a good watch
cat; he can be aggressive if strangers come into the house and we're
not around. We hired a professional pet sitter when we went on
vacation; she said that he watched every move she made and kept her
from going into certain rooms. We've hired her since, and now that he
knows her, he's not as territorial. He's not aggressive with the other
cats, as long as they leave him alone when he's eating. We're glad we
took in this handsome orange boy and he stole his way into our hearts!
