Here's
my sweet, ex-feral boycat, Bill. He and his mom and siblings
were live-trapped by some caring ladies in Saint Paul, Minnesota three
years ago when Bill was seven months old. The whole family was brought to
Purrs and Paws, a local no-kill animal rescue group that takes in feral
and abandoned cats. Bill was the only one able to be socialized and
placed in a permanent home, and my husband and I were the lucky ones who
got to bring him home. He's such a sweet, shy, gentle and beautiful boy
and is a joy to live with. He's the first one into bed at night and
sleeps on his back with his paws in the air. He has a very small voice
but purrs like a champion. He is pictured in his favorite getaway,
seven feet up on top of a bookcase. It's hard to tell, but he's smiling
all over with delight at being able to get away from his nuisancey
sister, Dinah Lee.
