Bodhi
is Maya's uncle and a whole week older than her. They are from
different litters but were raised together and trained by a dachshund and
so are quite the twosome.
Maya is the boss, official cleaner of the food bowls and catcher of
bugs and toy mice. She likes to turn on the vacuum cleaner in the middle
of the night and just to ensure that you don't become the next Rip van
Winkle, nibbles on ears, toes, noses, elbows and knees at the crack of
dawn.
Bodhi is a "helpful" kitty. Instead of playing with cat toys, he likes to
sort the laundry by pulling out socks, tea towels and unmentionables
(preferably black) and running around the house with them in his mouth.
Socks have disappeared and unmentionables are left on the stairs, by
the door and other places that visitors can easily spot.
In their rare quiet moments Bodhi and Maya are very affectionate,
sweet-natured kitties who love to cuddle with each other and with us.
