Mully
is a miracle kitty. He joined my family two years ago when I found
him and two other of his siblings when they were one week old and were
abandoned by their mother in the apartment complex where I lived. They
were totally dependent upon me for everything and Mulligan, his brother
Bogey and his sister Birdie all found comfort with my yellow lab Harley
and were 24 hour work. Mulligan developed a unique attachment to Harley
and as he grew his meows sounded more like a dog crying and his
mannerisms were that of a dog rather than a cat. His brother Bogey was
eventually was adopted by another family, however Birdie still remains
and keep Mulligan in line when his curiosity gets the best of him.
As Mulligan grew his personality became more quirky. Mully favorite
pastime is perching himself on the tops of doors (we think he must have
springs in his toes), stealing fresh flowers for toys and making sure to
decorate the house with silver tinsel from those little cat toy balls
even if it is not Christmas. He also acts as an alarm clock and is quite
adept at opening the blinds with his nose. He has a unique love of plants
and frequently prunes them by using his paw or teeth:) He also loves to
talk and follow you wherever you go and will enjoy sharing a good bowl
of cereal with you if you let him. He is truly a treat!
