Brownie
or Brown-kitty as she's mostly referred to is a stray who
refuses to go away! Not that anyone's trying to get rid of her. She's
perky and full of beans and is active at any time of the day or night.
She has a musical complaining meow which sounds very pretty when mixed
with a purr and is fairly talkative. Her favorite activity is stalking
anything and everything. Why, she'll even stalk a stream of water from a
tap! Or a pair of passing feet. But mostly, she'll stalk and pounce on
her mommie's tail (except that her mommy isn't standing for it no more.
She thinks she owns the world - and probably does!) Mommy,
incidentally, is a stray, a beautiful black cat living occasionally in
our garden. That's her, with Brownie, in the smaller photo!
