Corkie's
distinguishing feature is her tail, it is like a corkscrew
hence her name Corkie. She hates anyone to acknowledge her corkscrew
tail, though, it is almost as if she is embarrassed. Her ears go flat if
you touch her tail! She is six weeks in photo, but is eight months old now.
Corkie has added lots life to our home and provided a companion for our
dog Riley who is ten and is now acting like a puppy again. Corkie is
very intelligent only took her two days to train us completely.
Corkie has a unique personality, she loves to be with us all the time.
She sleeps with us and has to have contact with us by sleeping on the
pillow so she can snuggle into our head/neck. She has this fetish for
paper, any paper, she can be sound asleep and if she hears someone
rustling a piece of paper she will be at your feet waiting for you to
throw it, she will then take in her mouth and hide it, she has little
pieces of paper all over the house when she feels like it she bats it
around, she hides the papers all over the house...she will run upstairs
and come down with a paper she had hide a few days before. Corkie and
Riley have developed a close relationship. Riley at first was jealous
but now has adopted this kitten and will look out for her and they will
sleep together now. She is a beautiful kitten, affectionate. Corkie
is an asset to our house.
