Deedee
used to be my sister's cat. My sister adopted her from a shelter
when she was a kitten. She has double paws in the front and a tail that
is always standing upright. My sister used to live next to my mother and
I. Deedee would always come over to the house, insisting on staying. My
sister had to move to an apartment that only allowed two cats, and she had
three. It was pretty clear Deedee had already decided where she wanted
to be, so we gladly took her in.
Deedee's favorite game is "I don't want to come in, chase me!" She lets
us walk right up to her, then she runs and waits for us to walk up to
her again. And you can't trick her with treats or toys, she is too smart
for that. Another fun thing to do, if she see you are going to sit down,
she will run and jump into the very spot you were about to sit in.
Deedee is a very spirited cat and makes us laugh all the time. When she
isn't playing with us, she loves to have the sides of her face
scratched, and will even brush herself on the face if you hold the brush
or put it on the floor.
