Abby
was an unplanned addition to the family. My grandson and I were
looking for an orange kitten for him and I had no intentions of taking a
second kitten to my home until Abby came along. I knew, as soon as I
held her, that before the visit was over this cat would come home with
me.
Abby is the two-year-old child we no longer have in the house. She is
constant motion, inquisitive, playful, and she gets into anything and
everything she can squeeze her fuzzy body into. She's always ready for
a game of tag or hide and seek, she fetches, and her favorite toys are
the zip tops from milk cartons or pieces of foil crushed into a ball.
She loves Sunday brunch after church and comes to sit close by to get
her share of bacon which is her favorite but she also eats any other
"people" food she sees her humans enjoying.
Abby isn't the typical lap cat, but she's a wonderful companion and
every day she brings many smiles and a great deal of joy.
