This
is my Twixy, he is a Persian longhair. He follows me everywhere in
the house, he sleeps on my pillow every night, and I think he's thinking
that I'm his mother. My Twixy likes to pretend that he is very
independent, but during the night he jumps on my pillow and starts to
wash my hair and to brush it with his nails. We buy toys for him, but he
prefers to play with paper balls or with anything that is not bought in
a store. He take his toys in his mouth and brings everything back to us.
He was a little bit upset recently, because we got a second cat, and
apparently he is a jealous type.
We got Twixy from a cattery in Brussels when he was three month old. There,
he grew up with a dozen of other Persian cats. Once in our home, he felt
all alone and cried all night. My friend and I had to take two days off
to play and comfort him, but also because we were like zombies during
the day due to a lack of sleep at night. After those two days, he became
the boss of the home. Now he is seven month old and he just got a little
girlfriend (Tia, three months old) to play with. He is completely in love
with her and she with him. We adore these two little creatures and have
a lot of fun with them. I love him very much.
