My
sweet Shelbyanne is special because she is such a character. She has
these beautiful gold reddish eyes that match her tabby and she is such a
delight. She is so spunky and has such character. When we first got her
we knew she had to be ours. It was a rainy day at the end of August and
she was in this van which was part of a street fair. We got her from a
shelter called Animal Haven where they really take good care of the pets
they find. She had to be put in a separate cage because she would pick
on the other kitten who was a baby boy. She would not hurt him. She just
likes to play, sometimes a little bit rough which is just fine because
she gives so much love!
In the large photo she is playing with string which she is very good at.
She is 8 months old in that picture. She
can jump as high as any NBA basketball player. Another thing she is even
better at is swatting toy mice under the entrance door to the apartment.
one of her favorite things to do besides try and steal dinner from the
kitchen table is serenade me when I get out of the shower. She meows
while I am in the shower and then will rub up against me when I get out.
The most memorable time with Shelby as of yet was Thanksgiving. She had
her face in a bowl of gravy and was sitting in the rest of the mashed
potatoes... we went into the other room for a moment and she made her
move :-) I love her and am so delighted to have a cuddle buddy at night.
