About Us
Abbey, the Cat of the Day
Name: Abbey
Age: Two years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Snowshoe Siamese Mix
Home: Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Abbey Road (called Abbey) is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. My daughter (the Beatles fan) picked her out at the local animal shelter. Abbey was around ten months old then and had been living on the streets. She was filthy and her ear was a little torn. But she was friendly and very sweet. We had to wait four days, until Abbey could be spayed, before we could bring her home. Leaving Abbey there was very difficult but we were able to visit her every day.

The day we picked Abbey up she was disoriented from the anesthesia. We took her home and let her out of the carrier. It took less than a minute for her to recognize us, then she wasted no time getting into my lap, purring, and making biscuits. She was so happy that it seemed that she purred continuously for the next few days, and made biscuits every time she walked.

Abbey has been with us for over a year now, and is still a total love. She is a nutty girl too. She loves to grab just about anything and bunny kick it ferociously. She purrs easily and will bathe your face any time you want. She meets us at the door every time that we return home. She is just a wonderful Siamese girl. For your next pet, please consider adopting from a shelter or a rescue organization. It is a good way to gain a wonderful new member of your family.
