My
husband and I found Zora at an Animal Rescue at a local pet supply
store. She had lived at a vet's office and several different homes in
the few weeks before we got her, so she was a bit stressed out. Even so,
she took to us immediately. The first time we brought her home she
explored the apartment for about 30 minutes and then flopped her seven-pound
self down on the floor, queen of her new castle. Now she weighs a more
healthy twelve pounds and has quite a personality. Zora is friendly to
everyone she meets. Some of my favorite things about Zora are her lovely
blue eyes, her white feet and her noisy meowing. You can also see the
white mark she has on her forehead. My husband calls it her third eye.
I guess that means she is enlightened. Sometimes I think she is just
nutty, but then she fits right in with my husband and me!
