Last
month I decided that my life was too boring and that only a puppy
would cheer me up! After a lot of thinking I came to the conclusion
that a puppy would just mess up my life even more!
My friends keep telling me to get a kitten which got me wondering...
suddenly I told everybody in the office where I work that I had a
meeting that would keep me away all day long. I got into a cab and told
the driver to take me to the suburbs, which are very dangerous here in
Rio, and by the time I got there, three hours later I was decided to buy a
little cat.
I got to this strange place with a strange woman with a lot of cats...I
told the taxi driver to stay with me all the time since I was afraid.
Looking at all those cats playing I fell in love right away with a big
black persian cat, he sat on my lap and stood there for hours making
those sweet noises. After a while I saw this little cream persian cat
sleeping in the corner of the room, so I asked the women "How about that
one? Can I have it?" and she said "That is the big black persian cat's
son."
So I took a really good look a the kitten and his eyes were so sad that
it almost made me cry! I named him Denis and took the kitten
home!!! I called my vet and he told me that Denis was really sick
and that he probably wouldn't live for a month, he was underfed and very sick!
I treated Denis with all the best supplements and medicines that money
could buy, adding a lot of love to that as well! Now Denis is the king
of the whole family! He is kind, lovely and sometimes I can just swear
that he is talking to me!
He sleeps with me and wakes me up every day at 8AM sharp for me to go to
work! Now the doctor said that Denis is very healthy and his chances to
die young has gone to "0". He is so cute that the persian club made an
e-card with his picture! Go check it out!
He is my little son... the king of the house!!! Now I couldn't imagine
my life without him!
