Our
pet's name is Bob. He's a very good kitty, puts up with our two
children, ages six and one. We think he is special because he's such a
loving, happy kitty, hands down! He was a birthday present to our
six-year-old daughter who just loves him to death. He's a very
mild-tempered kitty, very affectionate and when he just feels like being
alone, he hides under our beds or our couch or pretty much anywhere but
in the pet bed we got him! Every now and then, you can find him sprawled
across the top of the couch.
He's kinda clumsy, I think it has to do with still being so young, he
will be chasing his tail and fall right off of whatever he's perched on!
Goofy kitty! We told our daughter since he was her birthday present and
he was her kitty, she could name him. So she juggled around with Missy,
Marmalade, and Princess. A few days after we got him, at his first vet's
visit, we quickly found out that our female kitty was indeed a male! So
she sort of realized that none of the names she was going for were going
to work, and we all kind of settled on Bob. It just seemed to fit.
His favorite toy is a little mouse attached to a plastic pole connected
with elastic string. He likes you to either jiggle it around so he can
chase it, or if nobody's around to play, he will drag it all over our
house and play alone! Although he doesn't have to do it often, even our
one-year-old will shake the mouse on a string for him! He's a funny little
kitty, and we've only had him a short time, but he fits well with this
family and we can tell he likes us too!!
