My
cat's name is Chermicican Candice. Chermicican Candice is a bit of a
mouthful, so we call her Floss. She is a pedigrees Persian bi-color.
She lives with myself and my daughter in South Wales, UK. She is a
special pet because of her loving nature, she is always waiting at the
door when we come home, she follows us around like a little dog, she
likes to sit on our shoulders and wrap her tail around our faces. I have
recently discovered that she has an allergy to cat food. This was only
discovered when she had an abscess on her chin due to all the brown
discharge coming from her eyes. She now has enjoys a healthy diet of
chicken, ham, turkey and salmon. Her face is now always clean and no
longer gets the awful sticky discharge from her eyes.
Floss is very affectionate in nature and always likes to be close to
people and I mean right up in their faces. She also likes water, she
sometimes crawls onto my legs whilst I'm in the bath and just sits there
watching me. She's only a small cat but is very big in character. I
don't know if I'd call it a trick but she lets me know when the phone
rings or someone knocks the door by standing in front of me and then
looking in the direction from which the sound is coming and then starts
to walk towards it, but looks back to check to see if I'm following her.
She likes playing with my five-year-old daughter's toys, too and her
favorite thing is the vet station, she crawls inside and hides from my
daughter then swipes her paws out when my daughter passes. She really is
a great character and fun to have around, I wouldn't part with her for the world.
