Meet
Sophie, to know her is to love her! Sophie is a loving companion
to Smokey, a gray tabby who is not a bit social. When we adopted Sophie,
she came into our family and made herself at home. She wasn't shy and
she never gave up on Smokey. He didn't want any part of that
relationship! He hissed and spit at her for a long time but now they
chase one another back and forth around the house. They share everything
but they don't cuddle or sleep close to one another. However, Sophie
continues to work on this situation. In the meantime she sleeps with Pop
and Nana! Whenever we walk into another room Sophie will run past us,
flop down and roll over to have her belly rubbed. Another of her
favorite things is to watch me cook. She will stretch up, paw on the
cabinet door and beg until I pick her up and show her what I am doing.
After looking all around the counter she seems to be satisfied. She is
precious and much loved by everyone, even Smokey!
