Gilbert
was found roaming the streets alone trying to find a home at a
young age. He was found by a young girl and they tried to find him a
home. I wanted him very badly, but my parents kept saying no and that
we didn't need a cat. Well, when Christmas time came, about a month after
he was found, who was my big gift? It was Gilbert!
Gilbert is a very hyperactive and amusing cat. His favorite toys are
ones that are not his, like flowers and anything he knows he shouldn't
have. Gilbert is very smart, he does not take no for an answer. When
he wants something, he wants it bad. Gilbert, who is fascinated with
water, loves to play in the tub when it just a little bit wet. He will
sit there and scratch at the tub doors until someone lets him inside.
Gilbert likes to sharpen his claws on the carpet and sofa. His sleeping
places would include on top of the hamper, on top of the washer/dryer,
inside the laundry basket and mainly on his blanket next to my bed.
Even though he has his bad moments, we love having Gilbert in our lives
and we would not think of giving him up for the world!
