Max
is probably the sweetest, gentlest cat I've ever owned. He glows
when he's praised, loves to squeeze himself into small boxes and likes
to be involved in whatever's going on in the house. If he gets mad at
me, he walks over to the house plants and begins nibbling on them (he
knows this will get my goat). He's very protective of a female cat I
adopted about a year ago. He bathes her and always sticks close to her.
He's a great friend.
Max likes to play hide-and-go-seek and also 'hand monster' (my hand's
the monster, Max is the hero...you get the picture). He sleeps at the
foot of my bed every night and we usually end up competing for space on
the bed. He absolutely loves bread (especially pancakes), though I
don't let him have it very often as it's not great for his dental
hygiene. He likes cat treats, but will only eat them while you're
petting him. Max is a 'talker' and you can tell that he loves to be
talked to. He's also big on eye contact. When Max looks at you, he
really looks at you. More generally, he's extremely affectionate, loves
to be held and pampered and is only too willing to pamper you right
back! He also has a wonderful, musky smell! Max is just great.
