This
is my cat Perkins. Perkins is an awesome cat that I love to death!
I got Perkins in July 1995 when he was about eight weeks old. He was just
too cute I couldn't resist him! Finally after a few weeks of nagging at
my parents they let me have him.
Perkins is a very different and special boy! He will rub your legs on
the command 'hug' to get his dinner and sometimes gives kisses on
command. He meows so much, very talkative cat! Likes to express his
opinions on things!
Perkins is also very protective and particular about who he likes. Most
of the time whenever we have company over he'll give them a slap on the
leg and start hissing! Although on some special occasions he'll watch
our guests from a far and roll around looking cute. He is very loyal to
my mom and I.
Perkins has even had some fame in his life. Back in March 1998 I dressed
Perkins up as a Cowboy for a Pet Dress-Up contest and he got his picture
on the front page of the local paper! Also in the 2002 issue of the
magazine 'Dogs In Canada' there is a picture of him in the Cat section!
But famous or not, I love him!
