We
got Spider-Man when he was about six months old. He was a stray
hanging around outside my workplace. I brought him home hoping to find a
nice home for him. We had just lost our cat Bob a few months earlier,
and we didn't think we were ready for a new cat, but Spider-Man made
himself at home and we just couldn't give him up. Now we can't imagine
life without him.
Sometimes when he plays, Spider-Man gets so wild that he tries to climb
the walls - that's how he got his name. His favorite thing in the world
is a short board wrapped in rope. When he's not scratching on it, he
sleeps on it. He also loves to bat rubber balls around the kitchen
floor, and he has a fuzzy mouse that he throws in the air and chases
around the living room. He keeps life interesting.
