I
got Simon for my tenth birthday last August. He was born on my uncle's
farm and was eight weeks old. I picked him from the litter because he has
an interesting face. Simon is friendly with people but when he has had
enough attention, he hides in my parents' closet. When he was smaller,
my dad taught him to jump into his lap when he tapped on his chair and
to flip over on his back. Simon loves to have his tummy scratched.
Simon used to hop up on the table where my goldfish tank stands and go
fishing. He never caught a fish. Because my dad yelled at him when he
did that he no longer goes fishing. My mom cuts Simon's nails and takes
him to the vet. I feed him and let him sleep on my bed. My dad wrote a
story about me and Simon for
his website.
