This
is my little darling Angel Baby. Angel is so special. I had
tragically lost my adored brown Burmese girl, YumYum, and could not even
mention her name, the grief was so painful. A couple of years later, I
went for a reading at a natural healing center for animals. I was told
that YumYum would return - obviously in a different form. I started
contacting breeders of Burmese cats, but none of the cats had that
special quality.
I had almost given up. One Saturday morning I was working in the
kitchen, and suddenly felt I just had to call my vet. They place kittens
and homeless cats. No Burmese, but there were three kittens - one really
sweet. Off I went, cat basket in tow.
One look at Angel and I knew it was her. Angel ran up to me and looked
straight into my eyes and put her sweet little white paws on my leg.
That was it. When I brought her home, thinking to keep her in my bedroom
for the first day or so - to my amazement, she recognized everything and
ran straight up to the leather chair that was YumYum's favorite, and sat
in exactly the same place. From that day on I no longer cry when I think
of YumYum, because she is back in a new and very beautiful fur coat.
Angel looks at me with such love, my heart melts for her. She talks to
me a lot - almost says hello when I come home! When I feed her, she
thanks me - rubbing against my arm, and purring, before she will even
start eating. You cannot see her beautiful thick tail in the photo, nor
the little black heart shape on her back leg. I call her my love child
and she is truly that.
