We
rescued Sox from a local shelter when she was three months old. She was
a feral farm kitten and had never been handled so she was very timid around
people. The poor girl stayed hidden for the first two weeks we had her in
our home! A couple weeks after bringing her home, Sox decided that people
were OK and now greets all our guests with her soft tinkerbell meow.
Sox is always right in the middle of everything that goes on in the
house. She makes sure everyone is tucked in for the night and wakes us
up in the morning with wet whiskered kisses. Despite her rough start,
Sox uses her litterbox religiously and even trained our newest rescue,
eight week old Jinx, to use the box. She accepted Jinx into our home
with open paws and considers it her responsibility to make sure Jinx has
clean ears. Sox even watches over our two budgies! Sox is a great cat
and we love her dearly. Our home would not be the same without our
little tortie guardian angel.
