This
is Sophie. She is a domestic shorthair with a perfect tuxedo print.
We adopted her from a friend who was having trouble with her cats not
using the litter boxes. So far, that has not been a problem at all. As a
matter of fact, we can't find any problems with Sophie. She is quite a
lady. She never kicks litter out of the box, always chews her food one
piece at a time and never leaves crumbs. She's a bit pudgy, 'cause she
does love to eat. But she only likes cat food. She loves to smell our
food to see what we are eating, but she doesn't indulge herself unless
it is a little leftover cereal milk.
Sophie is very talkative. She loves to be petted all the time! And we
love to give her all the attention she wants. She doesn't bother our
other two pets (rabbits, Roger and Faline). She doesn't seem to have any
hunting instincts at all. Even when she is playing with her favorite toy
(a piece of red ribbon), she doesn't stalk it. She just rolls around and
catches it in her paws.
She loves to sleep with us up above our heads, partially on my pillow.
Well, she is just the most purrrfect cat we've ever had or even met. I
hope she stays with us for a very long time. She will always be "Pet of the Century" to us.
