I
first spotted Xander while I was tending to my community garden near
the end of October 2003. It was his markings that I fell in love with
and then and there I knew I had to have him. But I didn't want him to be
alone so I caught another cat that he was 'hanging' with. It turned out
to be his sister (Buffy). Now these two former strays are enjoyed our abode
with another pair that we took in just three months prior. We're all
one big happy family.
Xander is vocal and quite affectionate. He loves to announce his
presence then jump on the couch with me and plop and roll, looking for
a tummy rub. Xander's game de jour is to 'wear a baseball cap'. He likes
to get his hear on the inside of the cap and try and turn it inside out.
Sometimes holding the cap in his mouth--giving him no vision of whats in
front of him--and hopping from chair to chair. He's a funny one!
