Harley
found a place in our hearts when he was five weeks old. He was
covered with fleas and very hungry. I work at an animal hospital, so I
knew just what to do to make him healthy. My husband, who stated he
didn't want a cat, fell in love with him. Harley would snuggle up to
his neck and fall asleep. Even three years later, he still cries to be on
my husbands' shoulder. I fell in love with his personality and his baby
blue eyes. Harley loves to talk and loves to play fetch. His favorite
object to retrieve is a Mardi Gras necklace. He will run across the
room, pick it up, and straddle it as he walks back to us so we can throw
it again.
Harley is only allowed outside on a harness. We live close to a main
road, and we are afraid he may get hurt. He does very well on his
harness. Neighbors think it is funny to see a cat being walked, but he
doesn't care. We love him very much. He is our only son.
