Bit
is a grand old lady who knows what she wants: food and a lap. She
has a daily round of pills and a special diet, but she seems to thrive
on all of the extra special attention.
She was just a kitten when I met her, and since then she has followed me
to three cities spanning half a continent. One of her favorite
activities is swatting the other cat, and when she's not doing that
she's looking for someplace to nap (preferably somewhere warm.)
Although she's an indoor cat, she enjoys going outside once in a while
to graze on grass (this picture was taken on one of her supervised
"walks.") Alternatively, she's sitting in the bathtub, waiting for
someone to turn on the water so she can take a drink. Bit is never at a
loss for words, often giving me a piece of her mind, always in a deep,
gravelly "Waah!" She can purr at the drop of a hat, and her favorite
place to be is close to her people.
Bit is one of the friendliest and people-oriented cats I've ever known -
a cat of a lifetime. After living with her for nearly two decades, I
can't imagine ever having not met her.
