Snooks
is unlike any cat I've ever seen. She was
purchased by my husband from a woman in Haines, AK and she immediately
bonded with him. She spends most of her day curled up in the crook of
his arm while he's at the computer and sleeps snuggled up on his
shoulder at night. This picture of her was taken one day when she was
out in the dandelions hunting for voles, her favorite gift to us.
I entered this family after she did and she makes sure I don't usurp her
spot in the pecking order. If she perceives that I'm trying to take
over her spot, a short, sharp "meow" lets me know that I'm tramping in
her territory. She's the most curious cat I've ever known and lets
nothing get in the way of something she thinks she needs to investigate.
In many ways, she reminds me of a curious two-year-old. But we love her
anyway. She's a very special cat.
