This
was my baby Parker who unfortunately passed away suddenly in
October 2003 after being in the family for two years. I got Parker
from an unhappy house and as soon as I got him home he made it known
that I was his, and not the other way around. He followed me everywhere
and was quite protective of me -- he would even get jealous when my
friends came over because I wasn't lavishing all of my attention on him.
His favorite thing to do was to lay outside curled up for hours
sleeping in our neighbor's baby stroller. I'm not sure whether they
knew that that was his napping place but they must have wondered where
all the cat fur was coming from! Parker also loved to sleep with his
stuffed panda bear on my bed - if the panda bear wasn't there he
couldn't sleep, and neither could I! He was the best friend a girl
could have had.
