My
big, beautiful furball is named Henri (pronounced Henry). Henri is
special for many reasons. He chose me to be his human companion when he
was three weeks old and we've been together ever since. He has an
amazing personality befitting that of a Maine Coon cat: he trills and
chirps, he follows me around and likes to "hang out" and "help out." He
will try to squeeze himself in the smallest box even. We play hide and
seek every day!
About seven months ago, Henri was diagnosed with an aggressive gastric
lymphoma. I decided not to put him through radiation and chemotherapy
and instead try acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine. Well, he
is still going strong today and his veterinarian calls him the Miracle
Kitty. Indeed, he is! He's Henri!
