This
is Bart. He works with us at Westside Animal Hospital. He used to
live with one of our doctors, but he decided he liked all the attention
he got at the hospital better. Some of the attention he could do
without, like dogs going by and checking him out. But he just ignores
them and they go on their way; he isn't intimidated by them at all.
Bart spends most of his day keeping an eye on what's going on in the
office. He has his own special chair that he can keep track of all the
comings and goings in the back door. Bart's main objective during the
day is to see how much food he can get, and how much attention he can
get out of you. He's at his happiest just laying down and having you
rub him and tell him what a wonderful boy he is. And he is. Whenever he
sees you, he'll start chattering in that special way he has to get you
to stop and see him. When I come in to work, he's already there to
greet me and tell me about his day. He's an irresistible joy and the
place wouldn't be the same without him.
