Venus
is the first cat I ever had. I got her in October of 1997 in
Charleston, SC at the SPCA. I opened the cage and she jumped right into
my arms, so I had to take her home. Her brother is
Jack.
Although she doesn't follow me around like Jack, she is very
friendly. Whenever anyone comes to visit, she makes sure that she sits
in everyone's lap before they leave. She is so cute when she sleeps,
because she sort of makes a light whistling-snoring sound as she
breathes. My wife and I tease her and say that she would never have made
it in the 'wild' making noises like that. Oh, and treat time is a blast!
I hold the cat treat two feet above her and she gets up on her hind legs
and takes it right out my hand. I don't know what I would do without her.
