This
is Alexandra Blackfoot (aka Sasha). Sasha likes to start her
morning by sitting on the newspaper and lapping up milk from my cereal
bowl. Then comes a full day's schedule of napping and contemplation. No
matter how busy she is, though, she always finds time to claw away at
her masterwork, known to others in the house as the legs of the kitchen
table. Sasha doesn't help with the rent per se, but she has caught three
mice, as she is quick to point out.
When Sasha and I first met at the ASPCA, she snuggled herself into my
lap and purred and purred. So I took her home. She hasn't been anywhere
near my lap in the three years since. The little con artist! She's a
special cat and an important member of the family.
