Though
he comes off as a bit of an intellectual, Boon has hearty sense
of humor. There's nothing he likes better than chasing his tail around
his scratching post or getting a ten-hour nap in on my favorite black
sweatshirt the night before I want to wear it. He loves his catnip and
is very proud of the fact he knows we keep it in the junk drawer in the
kitchen. I heard a rustling in the kitchen and this photo was taken
shortly after I walked in to find he had opened the drawer himself. As
you can see he's already giving me some line about needing a rubber band
and some thumbtacks and that it's purely coincidental that he stumbled
upon the bag of catnip. No, I don't believe him either!
Boon is just a character, and we are happy to share our home with him -
or is it the other way around? Anyway, we love Boon!
