Kind: Domestic Shorthair
Home: USA

There are so many special things about my baby Jaybo I just don't know where to start. Despite how life started out for him he turned out wonderfully and very lucky. He's the baby boy of the family. Don't let his looks deceive you. Under that angelic face beats the heart of a lion. He's very active, and almost always rowdy but very affectionate with his mama (me). Jaybo likes to sit at the window and watch the birds and other animals outside. He's an inside cat so he doesn't go outside. He's very happy indoors though because he's very spoiled.

Jaybo has always been a hyper little kitty. Even now that he's four years old you'd think he's still a kitten by the way he acts. He loves to pounce on the feet of his "prey" (a.k.a. me and my family). He has always had a thing for feet and shoes. A lot of times he can be seen packing around a flip flop or high heel. He gets his good taste from me because he only packs around the expensive ones (lol).

Jaybo hasn't always been so fortunate though. Life wasn't so kind to him when he was just a baby. When he was only a few weeks old he developed a very serious eye infection and the mother cat left him in a cinder block. My aunt and uncle noticed he was missing and began to search for him. After three long days of searching they found the poor little darling inside his stone prison. That is when his luck turned around.

Knowing my love for animals they brought him to me. My family and I cleaned his eyes, put medicine in them, bathed him,and fed him. He looked so sick and helpless, our hearts were heavy for him. We didn't expect him to live through the night. Like the little soldier he was and still is,he pulled through. Now he's as big and healthy as a horse, and by the grace of God got to keep his eye sight.

Now he's just like one of the family. He has his own room, place on the couch and everything. He's been our little miracle and our joy. We don't know what we do without him,or what he would have done without us. We love him more now than ever. Each day we just seem to love him more and more.
