Our
cat's name is Freckle. She was a feral who we have had since she was
six weeks old and is now seventeen years old. She is a tortoiseshell.
This is her in a flowerpot in our back garden. She lives in Woodcroft,
South Australia, Australia.
The reason she is so special to us is she is our 'baby' and a very
spoilt one at that. She rules our house so much so we cannot leave her
with anyone to be looked after hence we have chosen to not go on
holidays. Only cat lovers will understand our decision. She sleeps with
us in bed and snuggles in to keep warm. She is blind in one eye as the
result of a fight with our neighbor's cat but fortunately it doesn't
seem to limit her too much. Her vet. has put her on a special diet now
that she is older, which she loves. Her favorite pastime is sleeping in
her basket on patchwork rug. We are not looking forward to the day she
departs this world. We treasure every day with our special Freckle.
