I
am a very independent cat. My mom and dad always try to convince me
to sit on their laps but I usually get bored and leave after a few
minutes. But my curiosity does get the better of me as whenever they
are working on something, even though I don't feel like getting up from
my comfy nap rolled up in a ball, I have to wander over and see what is
going on, even if it means stepping on the computer keyboard or walking
across an open telephone book. I love my mealtimes and when I know it
is getting close to those times, I will start to go bug my mom or dad,
either waking them up in the morning by knocking things off tables and
counters and creating a ruckus or dropping hints in the evening by
walking around and around the tv where they are. I am also quite smart.
Once, I was trapped in their bedroom by mistake and I had to go do my
business so I took a plastic bag into their bathroom and used it so I
didn't get their carpets dirty. Boy were they surprised. I also like
to play but I don't like fancy toys from the store. I love Christmas
ribbon, small plastic tags, and shopping bags. I am very grateful to
them for rescuing me from the SPCA four years ago and giving me a nice home.
