My
cat's name is Dixie, she was born in Shreveport, LA, but her home
has been Texarkana, Arkansas for thirteen years. Dixie has been in our home
for fourteen years. She has been a very special cat to all the family. She
has been lost and found twice. She has been raised on Star Kist Tuna,
she's so spoiled rotten she has to have fresh water every day from the
bathroom sink. Loves to go outside and sit with us on the patio. She is
a guard cat, when the door bell rings or someone drives up she growls to
let you know someone is here. Since my husband has retired, they have
become better buddies. She has given me and my family many hours of
happiness. The grandchildren love her very much. She loves to hide from
you in boxes or whatever she can find to get behind. She watches the
birds by the bird bath. She has caught lizards, birds and frogs and
brought in the house to let you know she can, she doesn't hurt them, she
just brings them in and turns them loose. She then leaves it up to us to
chase and try to get them out of the house, catching them once is
enough for her to feel she's proved her point!
