This
is Bogart, simply doing what Bogart does best. One year ago we
went to the local animal shelter to find a cat. From the parking lot we
could hear him demanding to be let out. The poor little guy was only a
couple weeks old and became deathly ill shortly after we brought him
home. Nursed back to health Bogart went on to become a feline dynamo
and the terror of his dog friend JoeBoxer. Now, a year later, he
has mellowed and settled into being the world's most laid back cat.
Left on his own he will spend most of his time outdoors coming in long
enough to be admired. He fancies himself quite the bird watcher and
will spend hours mesmerized by his avian friends. At night, when the
mood strikes, he becomes quite the Romeo and will make the rounds
visiting each of us looking for love. Recently we brought a kitten
home. After a couple of testy days they became big buds and Bogart
seems to take a kind of joy in teaching him all of his bad habits...
