Scruffy
was a feral trapped by Mary, my neighbor at the end of July. He,
his mother, and siblings were living in a ditch across from Mary. She
was unable to trap the mother, or the other babies. Scruffy was only four
weeks old when he was trapped, and he came to live with me at five weeks
old. This is his picture from then, when he was just a baby, five weeks old.
It only took Scruffy one day to make himself at home, becoming my best
little buddy. It was like he knew he would live here forever, loved,
cared for, and protected as a cherished member of my family. He has
found his forever home, going from a feral with an uncertain future, to
becoming my lifetime companion, living in a safe and loving environment.
