Mojo
has become an integral part of my home ever since she arrived here
almost five years ago. Mojo, along with five of her litter mates, were
dropped off at a local pet store for adoption. Her mom's owner didn't
have enough room to keep all the vivacious kittens in his house. I was
accidentally walking passed the pet store and recognized Mojo
immediately, apart from all her siblings because of the interesting
patterns on her coat. That is how she became a member of my family.
Mojo was very shy and timid at first. It took her awhile to warm up to
strangers and she was quite skeptical of all the cat toys I brought home
for her. However, she is full of energy and spunk now. She is always
at the door when I come home from work, greeting me, asking me how my
day went. She loves to sit on my lap when I watch tv or read. She
likes to sleep by my feet at night. She hangs out with my other cat
Gene during the day when I am not home. She enjoys drinking water from
the bathroom sink faucet, rather than her water bowl. She passes her
time by watching the birds fly by on the patio railing.
I was not planning on adopting a cat five years ago, but Mojo just caught
my eyes. She has been a best spontaneous choice I've made!
