I
adopted Charlie a year ago from our local PAWS after having to put one
of my cats to sleep due to cancer. I've always had two cats and the
house just didn't seem the same without two bundles of fur and love
running around. The minute I sat down to get to know him at PAWS, he
plopped into my lap as if he'd been doing it forever, started purring
and it was pretty much a done deal. He has an outgoing personality,
playful, very affectionate and my constant shadow.
My other cat, Colby, doesn't think quite as highly of him as I do, but
they manage to not tangle up too often. Morning times before work, while
Colby continues snoozing in bed, Charlie is on the bathroom counter
"helping" me get ready which includes getting a morning drink from the
sink and a mandatory snuggle over my shoulder before I can leave. He
seems to really enjoy life, loves people and I can't imagine him not in
my life!
