Bob
is an excellent cat. We adopted him from a pet rescue center twelve
years ago when he was nine months old. His previous owner had died of
cancer and Bob had been her favorite cat. We interviewed three cats
before finding Bob. We knew he was our perfect cat at first glance. He
came around the corner of the living room and proceeded to untie my shoe
laces and bat the dangling strings from my parka. He then came to our
home in a box from the vets' on Boxing Day. His old name was Squeaky. So
we always tell him the Christmas story about the magic box where the cat
jumped in named Squeaky and came out named Bob.
Bob is very sweet. He is an indoor cat. He cuddles with us every
evening. He is also talented. He can sit and shake hands for a cat
treat. He likes to pose with his arms crossed and guards any closed door
until we come out. Although he is a bit chubby, the vet says he is
extremely healthy and not to worry too much about that. Even so, we have
him on diet cat food to keep him from getting any bigger. What a lug and a love!
